Let go of yourself,
let go of your bank card,
let go of your alarm clock,
let go of your phone,
let go of writing an email
back to your boss.
**exhale loudly**
Let go of the logins
that give you access
to all the distractions
that get you through the day,
do they get you through?
**exhale loudly**
or Do they get through you,
penetrate through your mind
and soul and scoop what they can with it,
leaving you empty
And when you emerge
and go to login again
to the ‘real life’
you realise you’ve forgotten your password.
And there’s no reset button
**exhale loudly**
It’s just a closed door,
and a key that doesn’t work.
**exhale loudly**
Scream at the door, break it down. Turn away from it and look at the room you’re in.
It’s 2000 pixels wide but full of everything in the universe. How, how can it be.
**exhale loudly**
How could it hold all universal ideas, aspects, thoughts, emotions.
**exhale loudly**
Ah emotions.
**exhale loudly**
It can’t, it shouldn’t it wouldn’t.
and it never will greet you with emotion.
Remember your emotions.
Feel them one by one.
**exhale loudly**
Breath into happiest memory. No not on there. Out thereeeee.
Exhale loudly into a tragedy, hold it, push it, move it stretch it only as far as you feel comfortable.
Move it around the body, feel it in the heart space and open it up.
**exhale loudly**
The door isn’t there. Look past it.
Let go of life’s passwords and encryptions.
Give away everything you know.
And everything you’ve ever learnt.
**exhale loudly**
Find another emotion. Roll it up, into a tight ball and throw it from your mind into the mind of someone you want to share it with.
Feel the ball of emotion so real, give it a colour. Give it a size… a translucency?
**exhale loudly**
Give it a brand,
and a tag line.
Give it a new target audience and give it a price.
It’s your emotion.
Sell it.
Package it.
**exhale loudly**
balance into it’s USP
feel it take over,
feel its availability
and access,
it’s universal.
But yours is better,
give your emotions to other.

Good morning
Be present through the journey you’ve taken.
Remember the contortion of body
and mind into a transport rather unkind.
Turn over and reach out, shoulder pressed into the window.
Coffee constantly brewing
grab it
Move into the Pre-work meeting position.
Hold it, feel the pull as it pushes into your hip and thigh.
let the ring of the automated audio meeting service sail through your body.
and pierce your mind
beep
beep
beep
you are now connected
behind the eyes
you’re at home
shirt buttoned
sit up,
but remain awake.
be alert,
but completely tired
computer chimes on
screen welcomes you
display the flexibility your work
demands
hold
this flexibility out
Lets pencil in a brainstorm.
By end of play.
Put in a catch up
every day
for me it’s this
*scratches chin * rubs face * goes for cigarette*
adjust your position,
look forward
input
you are a programme
purchasable,
for benefits
disposable
unique licence key
you need a licence key
your pension will expire
joke about gun for hire
over time
time
over
set your
out
of
office
to
never
end

Lie down, let your body feel heavy.
A weight of anxiety pushes you further into the ground.
It holds you down,
its your job,
its the government.
Feel your mind and your pockets empty
Feel your mind clear …….
as mind numbing television………………. erases any imagination you once had.
Say goodbye to that imagination.
You take out a monthly subscription to ease it’s removal.
Hold your breath
feel the aches and pains in your body,
Feel the age of your joints, in organs
and see it show on your skin
Feel a one in three chance of contracting cancer
hold your breath and stretch the NHS further and further,
press it into the ground. Hold it there.
Then remove it. Take away the nurse that’s easing the pain.
Replace the nurse with an accountant, and a ‘business model’
Rise up and salutations towards the business model.
Take the pain, and put a price on it.
on this chart show expense would you say the pain is, starting at £100 all the way up to £10,000
Charge a fixed fee. Charge for care, charge for a bed, and for life and for the dead.
Hold your breath
stretch the service, stretch the muscle and the team.
Try to get up
hold your breath

Imagine you are a tree,
lying down
in a pile
with all the other tree’s
stripped of your limbs.
disabled
unable to breath
just drying
and drying.
Imagine you are the earth
all interconnected bodies of land
everyone lives on you
and from you
you are again a tree just forming
from a seed
an acorn say
you allow all breath
and are constantly breathing
you can’t stop breathing
if you stop
it stops
inhale
inhale
inhale
inhale
exhale
exhale
exhale
exhale
you are energy
stretch up high holding your limbs as branches
exhale stretching further
your canopy enveloping a whole room
at the same time as stretching your branches out
send your roots down
root from your trunks into the earth
deep and wide
your roots connect with all other roots and networks in the plant kingdom
you as a tree are part of this mass
social media
you share and update
like
and save
send messages of danger
share nutrients
your unwanted
is gratefully needed
and taken
inhale
inhale
inhale
inhale
exhale
exhale
exhale
exhale
stand for 10 years
observing everything around you
take only what you need
stand for another 10 years
form part of the landscape
become known and looked up to
inhale
inhale
inhale
inhale
exhale
exhale
exhale
exhale
stand for 100 years
watch life come
and go
weather patterns change
you drink when there is plenty
you eat when there is enough
you give when you are asked
and you leave when
someone else decides
you should.
lie down again
this has been tiring.
all your carbon inhalation
is let out in one mighty roar
